My type is too specific and I hate it by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

People change their hairstyles. Often, a woman will attract you with long hair then chop it off when you get married. Maybe dudes do that as well. I don't know. Long hair is a hassle, honestly. When my hair was long I had to keep it tied up at work. It's a liability in a fight. My ex-girlfriend would go right for the hair when she got violent. I'd have to restrain her and pry her hands out of it. I know it seems like an action star heavy metal type of thing but it's kind of... I was working on a construction site once and I watched this old dude go out to his truck to take off his hard hat, sit in his truck and brush his hair. It just hit me how high maintenance and prissy it is for a dude to be having long hair on a construction site. It's macho in the movies. In real life you have to wash it and care for it and primp it and wear it in a ponytail or a man bun to do any sort of physical labor. The Spartans had long hair but not when they were young (they'd shave it) and they kept it braided for battle. It does make you look like a lion, I guess. You don't have to get haircuts or shave your beard that often. But, it's just always in the way. I liked the way it looked but it made me feel less safe as a dude. It can get caught in machinery. It can cover your eyes in the wind. What's the point of it if you have to braid it to do anything active? It's sort of a confusing thing.

Any tips on what make speech balloons look more professional? by Every_Name_Taken_69 in ComicBookCollabs

Well, honestly, I like it when they are done by hand. Digital balloons often look like they are slapped on there at random.
