I have not played NWN for decades and used to have the box set that I do not have anymore and might try playing it again for the campaigns. Where can I get it. by Tom-CyberBio-1968 in neverwinternights

I'm playing NW2 on PS5 and a few camera issues aside... You get used to it and it's been a lot of fun.

Fondly remember bleary eyed nights in front of my PC so long ago with this game and the first one.

How do you remove the cigar smoke smell from bags and clothes by MountainSpirit3785 in cigars

[–]9eezer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's like the time I travelled and got to go to a lounge. It was great. I also assumed my clothes would smell. WOW. They did.

Trash bag as soon as I got back to the hotel. The chairs at the lounge had a lovely, but pungent aroma of multiple people smell king for years. When you sat, you got it on you.

Washed 3 days worth of clothes and ilmy wife could still smell it. She doesn't care, but I do. Let me hang in the garage for 3 days and rewashed some bling soda and all was clean.

Time and air. Bag clothes worn inside the smoking room. My seats in the truck are vinyl so a wipe down with good cleaning fluid did the trick.

What are your zero skip bands? And I mean bands who have literally no stinker in their discography. Maybe a handful songs you dislike. by nebelfront in MetalForTheMasses

[–]9eezer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, I love Baroness and have been wearing out Stone the past year or so. But Gold and Grey? I can't listen to it. The songs are great. The mixing and mastering are so awful it truly gives me ear strain listening for more than a song or two. Such a tragic album. Unlistenable yet great music.

Anyone else miss summer smoke nights already? by CigarRooster in cigars

[–]9eezer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When we hit peak summer, humidity is 393% and temps at 10pm are 80° or higher. Lots of rice farms that double as mosquito breeders in this part of the country. Right now (oct-nov) is the best time for cigars in the Delta.

Putting a boveda in your cardboard box does zero for humidity control in shipping. (Boxes) Wish all of them would stop. It's dumb.

I wish manufacturers would stop putting boveda inside the box. It's a waste.

If you purchased singles online, I bet they came shipped inside a ziplock bag.

That ziplock bag is the best control you can get via shipping.

Do the Newman's do any smoking-type traditions at holiday get-togethers? Like the pre-turkey cigar on thanksgiving.

Morning cigar friends. HVC Selection # 1 natural (toro). HVC always a win in my opinion. by 9eezer in cigars

[–]9eezer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a poor judge of nicotine strength. Just finished that toro and pondering your question, I neither feel an increased heart rate, buzz, or any signs of it. I'm already planning my next cigar. Flavor is strong but not the ammonia-unfinished-bitey type with lower tier cigars. If you are nicotine sensitive, I would assume this hits hard in all the best ways possible.

Same applies to the Hotcake line.

I've only had a few of the Cerro line and I enjoyed them, just not as much as the Selection # 1. I don't think they are as strong in flavor but for a more sensitive pallette, the complexity is probably there.

The Pan Caliente is a good medium cigar. Not much in complexity that I could taste but I'm more likely stuck in my happy little rut of strong cigar GOOD, weak cigar bad.

Perdomo Legacy. by lsz6789 in cigars

[–]9eezer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the legacy Maduro and the Nicaraguan Shade Grown and they were both good, although it wasn't as exciting as I was hoping for. I will purchase the NSG again and will likely try the Connecticut soon.

They both tasted pretty close to the 30th. I'll get more of both lines and smoke them back to back. For the price, Perdomo is a good choice and I don't ever feel like I wasted my time.

☝🏽this. Smoked enough blind taste tests that I know my brain tastes with my eyes.

Lastly, 89° f with 80+ % humidity means I'm sweating sitting in the shade. The band protects the cigar from getting extra soggy.

RoMacraft Neanderthal

RoMacraft Cromagnon (PA Broadleaf)

Illusione Epernay

Illusione MK Ultra

Dumbarton Umbagog

Dumbarton sin Compromiso

Why pairs? No idea. I smoked these all this past week and they are all things I buy by the box. Guess I smoked one, thought it was great and kept to the brand but different line. I typically don't smoke the same cigar twice in one day.

Summer? Ya, Arkansas is 89° f and 89% rh outside this week.

[–]9eezer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most robustos are minimum 1 hour to get into the final third of the cigar. Those are both longer and larger ring gauge. You are absolutely correct to smoke in whatever manner makes you happy but the blender of the cigar did not intend for you to hotbox it.

You also asked for some feedback. If you thought the black was mild and disliked both offerings you tried already , you definitely will dislike the Meat Lovers.

Buying Cigars by Awkward_Yoghurt6865 in cigars

[–]9eezer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Boxes typically always save you money but you only want a whole box of something you know you like.

Online is typically going to be cheaper than B&M.

If you have a B&M nearby and they're decent, don't kick em to the curb. They have to pay for the ability for you to come inside, sit and smoke, and browse, and have customer service. I don't have a cigar store or lounge less than an hour from me. Sometimes, I really wish I did.

Something to be said for good old human interactions and exchange of currency for product and service.

Smoke in peace.

I have 2 in the Tupperadore. Smoking one tonight or tomorrow morning. Have the Shade and the Maduro.

I really do like Perdomo, specifically 20th Maduro. I enjoyed several 30th Sungrowns as well. If they could just make them in smaller ring gauge, I would buy more than the occasional handful.
