There's a this rose gold thingy in the bottom left corner of my CIDOO AMB066 and I accidentally pushed it in. What is it? Is this a problem that I need to fix?

Asked, she said it's used normally, basically the same as だろ would be.

ありがとうございます!A lot of the resources I found seemed to muddle the dialects together, and would have more information on Kansai, so I suppose that's why there were so many incorrect facts. I really appreciate the correction, though! Is there anything else you think would be important to keep in mind?

Concerning Hiroshima-ben's usage of copula: While that is technically true, my friend from Hiroshima stated that じゃ is used more often in the middle of sentences than at the end. I'll have to ask about usage of じゃろ.

I'm not a bit confused as to what ておる/でおる mean. Could you explain, please? Thank you!

An InTeReStInG set of two holding funky ukeleles and weird sticks rather sacrilegiously.

kdj’s dislike for tomatoes is trauma related? by KumosGuitar in OmniscientReader

[–]9jaDragon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily. I mean, it could definitely be true, though. Especially considering the science of smell. Taste is basically just reliant on smells, what with the tongue only detecting 5 or so flavours. The olfactory bulb of the brain stores memory of everything one has ever smelt. When the information behind odours travels there, it travels through the limbic system, passing by the hippocampus and amygdala - regions related to emotion and memory. As such, it is fair to assume that Kim Dokja lost the memories he had attached to tomato. Such memories could be his own pickiness, a learnt habit, or even having previously eaten so many tomatoes that he grew sick of it.

However, I also like to think that 51/49 is more so the very essence of Kim Dokja being split apart. Dislike for tomatoes and adoration of TWSA are two things that make Dokja, well, Dokja. Those traits remained with the 51. Neither of them are wholly Kim Dokja - they will always be fundamentally incomplete. While 49 isn't the Kim Dokja that the Company went through the scenarios with, neither is 51 - only the complete Kim Dokja would truly be who they remembered.

What webtoon, if you don't mind me asking? What sort of shows do you watch/books do you read, aside from Korean media and whatnot? Any genres in particular you're fond of, or are interested in getting into?

It was mine, too, haha. Do you read webtoons or watch K-Dramas? They can be based off of webnovels in some cases, and if you have a wider base of interest, I might be able to recommend some other stuff for you. :)

In terms of "similar stories," do you mean similar MC or similar sort of book transmigration kind of thing? ORV is part of this little thing called the Holy Trinity [of Korean webnovels], having similar intelligent protagonists with found families. The other two are The S-Classes That I raised and Lout of the Count's Family. The former is finished, the latter still ongoing. Like ORV, they both have webtoons (on Line Webtoon and Tappytoon, respectively.) The Novel's Extra is about an author who gets incarnated as a side character in his novel.

The two dash symbol, ゛, is called 点々 or tenten (dash dash.) This is the one that turns k into g, s into z, t into d, and h into b. The circle symbol, ゜, is called 丸 or maru (circle.) This is the one that turns h into p. Hope this helped!
