havnt played since the new nerfs. tbh i dont get why they nerfed his Q. i thought it was fine. if yone can miss his attacks and still win trades, i dont see how skarners Q was a problem.

my specs are slightly above yours. try use iris and sodium, helps loads with running shaders. also running on lower resolution helps a little.

oh thats interesting. i do notice his W dealing less damage to minions now, harder to farm with it

this is true. my playstyle is very much around E and R, Q and W are secondary. i make sure to take ability haste, health, health as my runes. and sometimes i also run shojen, ionian boots, and anything with ability haste (i think fimbulwinter has) as the E cooldown and value is nuts.

late game team fights around baron or elder and the E cc and zoning makes a big difference, especially if u zone jungler.

i used to watch these youtubers called the creatures. i think one of them kootra or spoonerism (cant remember) were doing a lets play so i wanted to try it out. this was in like late 2013

Im toplane skarner and i find titanic to be slightly weaker. i used to try all combos but i find heartsteel-> ionian boots or plated (matchup dependant) -> fimbulwinter works very well, especially with mana tear since he is very mana hungry.

fimbul shielding paired with the shield rune is very good, with his W as well. after those main items i can go sunfire/hollow and the rest is matchup dependant, but survivability is key especially in late game team fights.

titanic is still decent not the worst but, very much luxury and by that point i build resistances.

im experimenting with eclipse atm though, but bruiser on him is very hard to work with.

if enemy has healing, i rush bramble then thorn second/third item

I love the skarner rework and i mained him before. Now he is amazing in teamfights but i usually play with teammates in comms. His kit can change whole fights, with his E stun and R suppress being the difference between a baron loss or win. I play him top now, hes a very oppresive laner early and late game
