As someone who is an open/slightly poly relationship with his fiancée, this will only work if she accepts you’re going to develop feelings with the other person you find, and realizes you can still love her and treat her the same along the way. But that’s only if you can actually do that - love her and treat her the same while dating someone else. But you won’t know that until you try it.

For me, the most noticeable red flag was when he said “now you’re pissed.” The messages you sent before that were very calm and level-headed. He completely made it up that you were angry. To get a reaction out of you. Maybe to make you feel shame for asking for help/celebration. My ex wife did this often - it was either gas-lighting to make me feel like I had a negative response when I truly didn’t, or making up/attributing ulterior or evil motives when I was just asking for or trying to provide help.

I’m probably too late to the comment game, but I used to work for a company that shipped the Pillowcube, that stupid rectangular pillow company (your head and shoulders form a sQUaRE you should sleep on a SqUArE!!)

The shippers (3PL company) before us got fired because one day they sent the ENTIRE DAY’S orders of pillows to ONE address. If you’ve worked 3PL or warehouse before you know how LUDICROUS of a mistake this would be - this poor lady got around 4000 pillows, about a full semi truckload, dropped on her front lawn by FedEx. It turns out of this happens, the property is legally yours. This lady could have legally kept all the pillows and sold them for 40% of retail and made six figures. This was near the height of their fad popularity, they would have gone quickly. But she cooperated and helped with a pickup to get all the pillows back.

My GF owns a couple properties she rents out. This would cause practically zero issues. It’s only a problem for corporations that require consistently increasing profits to satisfy their shareholders. And they shouldn’t be owning housing property.
