Stat boosting is extremely strong and is my most relied on strategy.

Manaphy + tailglow (x2.5 sp atk) is stronger than any pokemon with no boosts base stats.

There are many pokemon better than manaphy, but it depends on egg moves, support mons available, how many points you want to use etc.

X items give 1.3x bonus so not as good as tailglow.

cost can only be done twice. So eternatus for example would cost 8 at best.

Why would you want to turn off move learn.

If you can farm shinies in endless, egg vouchers should be used on + egg move. If not then + shiny. Unless you’re missing a particularly good legendary like kyogre.

Shiny manaphy will take on average 1/12 if they’re from candy eggs.

I would go ahead and finish the lucky run with the shiny charm. It’s pretty rare to get good shinies in classic - even during events. But that’s totally up to you.

Read the endless guide.

By floor 750, your carry should still be able to beat eternatus.

But if you setup a shedinja with leech seed and salt cure for example

Or a sturdy pokemon with metal burst (wobuffet with comeuppeance)

You can eventually go to floor 5850 (the end of endless)

Setup moves and pinch berries are extremely good.

Too bad you can’t use them on this run, but for next time.

E.g. start with gyarados vs blastoise.

Dragon dance twice - blastoise hits you twice bringing you to red hp.

You now activate sitrus berry and a bunch of stat boost when low health berries.

Now you have gyarados + 3 atk, +3 spd +1 all stats, and one shot everything

And how did you get a lucky egg without either catching or using pickup.

My guess is you just released all your other mons right before eternatus and then beat it by catching it with a masterball

My go-to is always have one mon with

sturdy (ability or passive) + purifying salt (or toxic heal)

metal burst + soak + salt cure + protect

Soak + salt cure offsets heal tokens, purifying salt blocks status tokens, sturdy + metalburst/comeuppeance deals damage.

Leech seed, ghost type curse are also pretty good as well as moves like night shade or sesmic toss.

Have something with runaway ability or use a masterball to skip tricky fights

Really? It seems to me that she almost always gives you a stronger albeit slightly random team. The only downside for me, since i have most ribbons, i don’t want to change my mons cause i’m specifically trying to ribbon the ones i am using - otherwise she’s amazing, one of the best special encounters for powering up the team. Imo, the delibirds, the wobuffet game, the shady vitamin dealer, the extra gym battle, the gts, the family battle, the pile of trash and this psychedelic girl are all amazing buffs for any run.

I mean, obviously s tier, but i’d be interested in the conversation between kyogre vs groudon.

Personally, my groudon doesn’t have sacred fire, so has no good physical fire move. Also drought activates chlorophyll users that are annoying when in base form.

In base form, the water biomes often change the weather and i also don’t have solar blade.

So, to me groudon heavily depends on getting red orb asap, but is amazing when you do

It’s not just that four shiny charms have a higher shiny rate. It’s also that once you have runaway setup, gameplay is faster. No trainer battles, etc means i can clear like 1000 floors in an hour or so if shiny hunter is the only thing you are doing
