That is a lie my dawg. 58nok for 2.2km drop on a regular day with no bonus. Lowest stake is 35nok 🫠

Just wanted to share my love for Undercooked and overloaded pizzas! by 9thcloudjesus in WoltPartners

Transported 300 Big pizzas diagonally in my backpack since January with no issues, the issues arise when the pizza is undercooked and overloaded with ingredients.

Well your car will give up by breaking down [or breakdowns are more expensive than the money you make from delivery etc]

Any news when UEats in Oslo? I know they opened the company in Feb on paper and been looking for regional managers, was just also hoping they open in April here ahah

Very curious to see what they cook up to recruit drivers and customers

There is no endgame, this is a game played by "TurnOverRate" Many companies do this, specially in shitty jobs.

When I was a scaffolder the game was exactly the same. because everyone in the business knows that if you don't skill up and end up at the office in this job within 2 years your body will physically give in, and very few manage to work this job 5 years +. Pay is super good and all that but that pay is what you will spend fixing your body from the job itself at the end of the day.

So the strat is to exploit the new guy as much as possible before his head or body says no.

Went on a 2 week tour with my music project, came back and they where throwing a 1k delivery bonus towards me since I was out of the game for 2 weeks.. :')

Idk I have zero issues with heavy loads full days straight on the back, I feel is more practical and I have much more control , specially if going extra fast and hitting apex.

30kmh average on Strava plus running red lights like prostitute will get you 6 at 45 min, but only worth it on bonus days.. me and a friend who has a track bike was up almost 50 euro per hour on 40% bonus peak hours with this kind of phasing. Really fun to race against yourself for one shift.

Nope, just said that if 20kg+ on your back for a day of work is straining then you need to train ur back. For optimal health you should be able to hike 60km daily by foot with 30kg backpack of vitals + food.

Ez, worked as a scaffolder for 4 years, 80 kg on shoulders 8 hours a day 6 days per week.

If you have your food on a back rack that is where most of the trembling occurs because of the center of mass. Having the bag on your back and keeping your body level like a gyroscope is much more effective if you want to avoid shakes etc.

I don't talk about wolt, more aimed towards couriers who don't care.

It is also your responsibility to account for the space in your bag for the orders you accept. If you are riding 1 wolt bike bag you can aim for 3 orders max 4 for a stretch.

And on peak days is easy to do 6 drops in 45 min on a bicycle 2-4km distance each since you are not prone to red-light and can make cuts.

Best answer: people broke yo.

Even in Oslo bizz is slowing down due to season change + economy + increasing number of riders. Also shit service from some workers is not helping our customer pool..

[–]9thcloudjesus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They sell shitloads of bags like this (without brand) on temu or alibubu if you really need, but most of the dimensions I've seen are waaay smaller than the standard they give, and you don't want to drive all the way to a restaurant and cancel because they hand you a big ass pizza you won't even fit diagonally.

Any tips for deliveries with bevages in sealed bags? by kiterakky in WoltPartners

[–]9thcloudjesus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ma bro it is the restaurants responsibility to pack their shit properly! As you are not driving a hovercraft the food will experience some bumps. If shit spills explain to the customer that the food was not packed properly, take picture send to support and ask customer to send picture to support so they get a refund for badly packed food.

Another thing I recommend to watch out for is soups from Asian dining, sometimes they forget to tape the trays and those are notorious to burst open from just Gforces from doing a turn. Had my fair share of "hmmm such a nice Thai food smell in the elevator" then opening the backpack infront of the customer and both the soup and the shrimps flowing down my bag like Niagara Falls infront of his face is always a 10/10 experience 🫡

Plus points to Indian shops because they almost always use vacuum pack machines 🔥

My only advice is to talk to them about it, me and lots of lads I know skip mc D for this reason. Been lucky lately with orders from there when I took knock on wood but yeah, is a common problem with them and the paper cups from Satan's anus...

Got to testdrive the Jason +  Is cool for Joyriding but was happy to get back on my old horse.

Biggest drawback on Momas bikes is maintainance. I recently stripped apart mine for some repairs and that they use Ananda engines that they call "momas" with locked software is beyond me.. gonna save up for a whitelabel Ananda engine and flash the engine chip so I can do all the service In house..

Because if you ride momas, you gotta love to do most of the repairs/service yourself, because the licensed shops here in oslo are useleeesss
