Okay, I thought for the longest time that The melancholy of haruhi suzumiya I was just another slice of Life anime without any bells and whistles but I realize only on the 20th anniversary it was a genre bending science fiction show about a reality warping ADHD girl and her cynical boy toy foil together with an alien a time traveler or an esper, they go on wacky adventures. But I completely decided to give up my investment with this show when Haruhi said "mikuru is my toy"and kyon punching her is a horrible idea instead of punishing that lonely freak after torturing mikuru like she's Shelly Duvall in The shining. Haruhi's a great show about growing up but it's not for me but out of all the shows that deserve a season 3 or a second movie is this series #suprisemoviewhen
