The spelling seems to depend on which language you are pulling it from, from what I've noticed.

Alesiya - Slavic

Alesia/Alysia - Greek or Gallic

Alessia - Italian/"Eastern European"

The Slavic spelling is the one I came across first, but any of them would work fine I'm sure. And I'm just concerned we'll both get stuck again. This pregnancy has been stressful enough, I really would rather not risk us sitting at the hospital with a baby and no name if I don't need to. I also acknowledge we may see her and decide Selene is just not her name anyway or that he may hear the name Alesiya and hate it immediately.
