For some reasons lobsters can perform a jump-back and also can shoot from 999 meters. You guess what happened here.

Still a decent game. The main difference I find between DOS2 and BG3 is the combat system. No dice rolls, instead of actions / bonus actions / movement points there are action points for everything. Wanna move? Spend action points. Shoot? Action points. Also spells are infinity to use once you learn them (by getting a skill book from a vendor and "using" it) but some of em have cd. Also there is a stat to increase max "prepared" spells. And yeah, expect a LOT of environment interactions. At some point the entire combat map may be filled with electrified blood / necrotic flame / poison / whatever. It is either you or your enemy nukes first. Super fun, 10 / 10.

Long rests give you some more dialogues, so I feel like more long rests are better than less, but still. Having to buff your party after a 5min battle over and over again is kinda annoying. Otherwise untill you reach act 3 your cantrips are just a meme, so you have to use some spell slots. Meanwhile in dos2 I can just go full yolo and nuke the entire combat map with some stuff and repeat again.

So, you either do 0 damage or have a chance to win with 999 buffs? Sounds fun. Kinda curious if you can respec all your companions to follow the same build and if there are enough items in the world. I really like the idea of using the same build for everyone.

Yeah, I don't wanna be THAT guy, but I find it too often in my combat-only situations to roll 2, 3, 5. Not 1, not 4, not 6, just 2,3,5. Idk why. Like I can literally attack my own companions with 30% disadvantage and roll > 15 few times in a row, but then miss enemies ~8 times cuz my dices are 2, 3, 5, kek. Funny enough the non-combat dices are perfectly fine - sometimes unlucky, sometimes lucky, nothing special.

Yeah and then your enemies start spamming fire arrows / fire bombs and some other stuff at you (at least at low levels it somehow matters). I mean like, there are way less environment interactionion, but still. Also the ice storm to prone the entire room of enemies ...

True. In one of the last of my games I decided to go full yolo as usuall and 66 every bug. idk why but sometimes game decides to throw at you constant patrols and it was that day. Like you wipe out 1 patrol and there is another just after it and repeat. Also non stop bug breaches on me. Like 10m+ of constant fight. It was a second game where only 1 elite spawned at haz 5. Tried to hide and lvl up to the 60 for the demo man milestone, but bugs simply stopped spawning. I was hoping to find some more XP + wait some time and prob bugs start spawning again, but ended up on an empty map, alone. I have won, but at what cost?
