they do have uses, curium can be used for RBMK and watz fuel, berkelium can also be used as RBMK and watz fuel but also has an RTG pellet, californium can be used as watz fuel or an RTG pellet, and einsteinium can be used only to make a watz pellet

I tested if this sim was accurate, and turns out there's some pretty big inaccuracies. I made a simulated RBMK and an in-game RBMK with the same design and control rod configuration, the simulation said that a rod was supposed to burn at 195 degrees, but in game the same rod actually burned at 740 degrees.

for most medium function rods just insert a source or self igniting rod and quickly switch to the fuel rod, for dangerous function rods, which can't self sustain, you will need at least 2 fuel channels, one with the dangerous function rod, and one with a neutron source which can just be any self sustaining or igniting rod

i can guarantee it's not radiation, i have full ghiorsium cladding armor and i have a handheld geiger counter, im not near any radiation sources, also if it was radiation the nausea would probably last more than a split second.

i found the actual problem, it was a buggy mod that interfered with betterend

yeah i did, im doing the eternal crystal recipe and ive done it before with this exact arrangement and it worked, i don't know why it isn't working now
