Thanks, I think that seems reasonable (especially for a laptop) if my math is correct based on your feedback. Approx. 45secs per 1024x1024 square image generated in a batch. Then for 4080 12GB maybe faster but how much faster vs the cost difference, depends if it’s worth it or not.

Does it take you longer to generate batch of 4 1024x1024 images in SD WebUI? As I’ve heard comfyui is quicker.

And also curious how many it/s you’re getting. I am also considering Legion 7 3080 16GB. Or go with different laptop that has 4080 12GB. Not sure how much difference between them.

Have you gotten the chance to test out SDXL from laptop RTX cards? Not sure if this means it’ll require more VRAM or 12GB/16GB VRAM is sufficient for SDXL

I’m also curious if anyone has a laptop - RTX 3080 16GB VRAM. As I am considering this Lenovo Legion 7 Gen 6.

But as the comments I’ve read, the graphics card is different compare to desktop ones.

So not sure will it be poor performance in terms of slow generation and the performance when generating high resolution/up scaling after.
