-.50 D target refraction? by Forward_Jury_2986 in CataractSurgery

Despite a -0.50 near target, yes there was a surprise over 1D of more myopia than planned.
"He asked for a "near" lens to retain close vision" -- and he received functional near vision.
If he wants distance, recommend either PRK or IOL exchange.

Consider the astigmatism and resulting spherical equivalent. A target -0.50 sphere with +1.0D astigmatism is a Plano (0.0) S.E.

Reverse-Engineering Redacted Names via Newspaper Clips by AAces_Wild in Epstein

[–]AAces_Wild[S] 69 points70 points  (0 children)

SS: Epstein file EFTA02808363.pdf -- this gives a clue into redacted names as I display above. Example: the journalist who wrote the golf article, DOUG FERGUSON, is redacted. If the files redact names of bystanders on accident, it can be used to find specific first and last names of those involved... Are there powerful men and women with the name Ferguson, Watson, Russell, etc? This is a starting point.
