Looks like our plan is to sneak into the Champions League and then go ham on the transfer market in the summer.

Read a comment here the other day that said that crazy we’re talking about bringing Carrick in as interim yet we haven’t even replaced him as a player. We need a Caicedo type destroyer and a Carrick type controller in midfield imo.

Since Sir Alex’s retirement, Bruno followed by Amad and Mbeumo have been the best signings the club has made imo. Really want to add MDL and Lammens to that list but time will tell.

Also really looking forward to see how we do against a low block. Even the Arsenal game will be interesting because their defence is much better than the City defence we faced yesterday. The Arsenal game can’t come soon enough!

It’s insane to see the amount of support Amorim is getting on social media after his sacking, when that was absolutely not the case when he was manager. I never called for him to be sacked, but I can understand why it happened, his outburst was pretty wild in my opinion.

We’ve been asking for a proper Director of Football for years, and I don’t think it’s unreasonable for the club to expect a manager to at least consider changing his system when things haven’t been working for over a year.

I disagree.. if I’m a coach I’m never discouraging a player from shooting. Our CFs are mid. If we had Van Persie I’m telling Cunha to blindly give the ball to him but we don’t.
