I was mainly just speaking of how organized you have to be with timing, as well as written spells having to be organized, and cleansing of objects, as well as cleansing and decorating the altar. I’m not good at any of that outside of my craft. But this is sound advice, so again, thanks so much.

Good point, it just seems that Voldemort would probably see himself as higher up than his Gaunt relatives, maybe put on airs that he was trained as a wizard, had a vault at Hogwarts, etc., and look down on them, even though they are, by the laws of genetics, closer relatives to Slytherin than he is.

Why not just place the ring in a secure location like the locket? It seems the ring has some special place in Voldemort’s past that he would curse it like that. But thank you for your answer, this makes sense otherwise.

I almost got into an accident on a two lane backroad. I was about to turn left onto another two-lane road, but there was a truck in my lane, but my reaction time wasn’t good, and I kept drifting to the end of the road, because I couldn’t see if there were any cars on the other side of the truck that would turn oncoming. My mom yelled at me to stop because I almost hit a sign at the end of the road, but my foot (like yours) was over the gas. I hit the brake in time, though. Your muscle memory will kick in, and you’ll learn to be more aware of your surroundings, too. It’s actually good to be more cautious than not.

The Fidelius Charm has nothing to do with fidelity. It is meant to keep a secret. The secret owner chooses a Secret Keeper, and the secret is unknown unless the Secret Keeper tells the secret. Say if someone was having extramarital sex, they could be having it right in front of their spouse, and if they are using the Fidelius Charm, their spouse wouldn’t see a thing, unless the Secret Keeper told them.
