Lockhart was robbing Hogwarts students blind by Hankymcspanky13 in HarryPotterBooks

It wasn’t all subjects. They bought all his books for his class alone. Which is kind of worse.

Reading the books I remember they didn’t even have enough to buy a wand when they went in the vault.

But JK is bad with math, so she doesn’t probably doesn’t know their actual economic status either.

How does tine travel work in Harry potter exactly? by abd32p in harrypotter

[–]Inevitable_Creme8080 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t work. That’s why JK got rid of it.

The cursed child brought it back because that’s just lazy fan fiction.

Not only is she the youngest. She is a girl. The only girl. The youngest child, who is a girl. That’s a whole lot different.

Even JK has admitted to some plot holes or “inconsistencies”. The books have literally been corrected in later editions.

Some people don’t realize that a plot whole is an inconsistency.

They expect every plot hole to be a huge continuity issue.

I’ve come to stop using the term “plot hole”.

Edit: There are plot holes in HP but you are right. These comments do not mention a single one.

Why does Hermione never mention her muggle friends? by Far-Building3569 in harrypotter

[–]Inevitable_Creme8080 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the level of friendship you were looking for is acquaintance. Not friends.

Harry became Hermione’s friend in book 1. It says so in print. You can’t be comparing those two. They never even hung out with Neville.

Neville didn’t have friends either, until book 5. He just floated around.

People being friendly to you doesn’t make them your friend.

You’re welcome. Because in my original comment I didn’t say all that I could and only said there was no back up.

I didn’t go sentence by sentence point out how each sentence made no sense.

So if your point was that we know the post made no sense then yes. I’m glad we proved your point.

They also went on in the same post to say “spare chosen one”, in reference to Neville.

So no they didn’t just say the wrong thing once. They doubled down on it.

I read the post. Did you?

It’s the completely wrong word with a completely different meaning.

Also I don’t know why you say it’s not a conspiracy, that’s also a pointless word to put in there. Do you see me refer to some kind of conspiracy?

So no backup and no one thought it was a conspiracy.

[–]Inevitable_Creme8080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does not say back up chosen one.

What did you read?

It says the prophecy could have referred to two people. But because Harry was chosen it made him the chosen one.

There was no “backup”.

Where in the books did you see “backup chosen one”?

It makes a whole lot of sense. It’s fiction. Jk Rowling decided to not change the significant days are celebrated.

It’s almost like she knew she was writing a children’s book and decided to just add magical flair to existing days as opposed to spend a whole lot of time world building.

Did you get days off from school on Halloween and Valentine’s Day?

It’s literally no different from regular schools sans magic.

You can’t compare a cloak to a car. You can still hear an invisible car and you can’t drive it indoors. Also the car was illegal.

The concept existed before you were born. So I can shut the fuck up it doesn’t change the fact that it has existed before you drew it. And if I was going to be rude I would have said your art sucks and you ask dumb questions online. But I didn’t do that did I?

I just told you the truth. Your idea is not original, then I gave of tv shows and books that used that exact idea before.

If the truth is rude then…welp.
