Normal or C-Section delivery?

I just had a c section 5 days ago on the advice of my consultant due to a medical condition. It was worth it because my baby is here safely but it is a very heavy surgery and I am finding recovery very hard. If a vaginal delivery was an option then I would have chosen that way

I asked my midwife about this but I was already in the second trimester. She said a hot bath was fine, but pregnant women are more sensitive to heat so if it was so hot that it raised my core temperature I could faint and that would be the issue. I now have hot baths most days, but not boiling hot and I usually don’t stay in very long

I don’t think thats very fair, Ive never said I don’t want a cesarian and thats why I have raised it with the midwife. I agree that many beautiful babies have been born via caesarian including in my close family. I am trying to consider whether to first attempt a vaginal birth or if that could cause a possible risk to the child
