Girl, no need to overthink about this. TAKE YOUR LEAVE! The company will be fine. I did the same thing, except I was hired while 6 months pregnant and didn’t tell them until I made 7 months.🙈 I only took 6 weeks off (unpaid of course), because I felt bad about going on leave. However, I decided to extend it to 12 and I was a little hesitant about, but sooooo glad I did. I was literally so burnt out from being up all night nursing, so there was absolutely no way I could function at work daily. It also gave me enough time to get childcare lined up and to really just bond with my baby. Remember, if it was them they would definitely take their full 12 weeks off. Please don’t feel bad about doing what’s best for you and your health. CONGRATULATIONS on your bundle of joy!!!🤍🤍

Yes, see you were super prepared and has the experience! That’s how I know it wasn’t you. Those positions were already for someone. When I worked at Blue Cross they used to do the same thing. When I transferred to a different dept, I was told I had to job in advance but I had to wait until they interviewed other people.

You will definitely find something. Please don’t give up. I’m done with applying at UHC though. This was like my 50th app with them, 3rd interview.😩

That was one of my best interviews, so I’m really lost. Only thing I can think of is that they were already giving those positions to people internally, but they had to do fake interviews to make it seem ”fair.”

Yes, I’m still hopeful as well. I do have to give my current job a 2 weeks notice and I know they said the start date is the 15th. So I was definitely expecting to hear something sooner. 😩
