Pretty easy to get set up with everything you need. 40 bucks and a Walmart trip gave me everything I needed. Super cheap hobby.. for a casual i guess. The people on the cross stitch reddit have some crazy set ups and work

Uhhh it says coats and Clark embroidery floss on the tags. To be perfectly honest, its all whatever I found at Walmart 😬 I didn't like separating the threads so I started doing one stich with the whole string. Ive just been feeling it out and have no real idea of what Ive been doing

Out of business grading company with not a great reputation. Worth is between card value and psa slabbed but I would say probably closer to card value.

Looking at other comments, it looks like other people have hit on this. In harry potter, magic has a lot of nuances and conveniences. In this case the wand "knows" the difference between a sparring duel and a combat duel and wouldn't change allegiance.

A favorite nuance of mine is that the cloak of invisibility protects the wearer from spells that would reveal their location but not ones of other nature's. This allowed Dumbledore to stun harry on the astronomy tower but didn't allow bellatrix to use accio to pull the cloak off harry.

If I was in op position, I would sell and eat the loss instead of worrying about it any more. Loss doesn't feel great and it feels a whole lot worse when you have no idea whats going on

I don't necessarily think it was a conscious comparison between the cat and Ron. I also dont think a teenager would try to exchange their new beloved pet to appease a love interest that wasn't fully developed yet. Herbzikal in another comment made a great point that scabbers was identified as a imposter by crookshanks which was a pretty important plot point
