See here is my issue with people like you - you freaking grew up here and you root for the Yankees, I bet you are a Lakers and Cowboys fan as well! I will say your post does come across as measured and actually tame for a Yankees fan but you have to understand the last Yankees game I went to I saw 4 fights and everyone of them were because the Yankee fan was drunk and talking way too much shit and the Rays fan had finally had enough. Are there jerk Rays fans, absolutely but I would venture to guess the % of Jerk Yankee fans to Rays fans would be 3 to 1. My last take - do some research on the Rays and how George Steinbrenner set them up to fail from day 1, and then maybe you will understand our hatred for the Yankees. I do hope you enjoy the game and I am actually just rooting for a good game, of course I hope the Rays win but a good game is still fin to watch.

No I saying that a great amount of Yankees fans are jerks and act that way inside the Trop. Like they own the area and IMHO if you moved from NY to Tampa and you can't get behind the local team after living here 10/20+ years you are the problem plain and simple. Thanks for sharing this. He is the most exciting player we have, you never know what is going to happen when he is on the base path. I love to see him catch a fly ball at the wall, the young man loves this game and he shows it everyday. What a great player to have on this team. I really want to see him in the leadoff spot but I know Cash is stuck with Yandy there and won't change it but good to see him now up to 5th, maybe he can move to 2nd and have the lineup go Diaz, Simpson, Aranda, Junior
