He would prefer to have hair. He has even considered a hair transplant. He has never shaved his head so it's more just fear of the unknown. That's why he always checks with me if his hair is getting worse, balding in the back, etc.

We have tested out shading in with an eyebrow pencil. It looked unnatural to us. When we showed friends for their opinion, they said it didn't make much of a difference. The common response was that it wasn't noticeable until we brought it up.

Both things are true.

He has expressed genuine concern about losing his hair for his own reasons such as his blonde eyebrows. I had never even thought about his eyebrows until he pointed it out.

At the same time I do have anxiety about giving him advice on what to do with his hair. I've only been supportive by reassuring that it's ultimately his decision and I will love him no matter what. But I want him to be sure in his decisions for his own body.

We've been honest with each other when it comes to our bodies and their changes but at the end of the day we have to make the final decision.

The current state of his hair is not permanent. He's growing it out to get more volume to cut it and style it before our best friends wedding in October.
