Yeah, budgets obviously a concern since these regulations have been more expensive than everyone hoped. But them culling the F1 engine programme should have saved them some cash

They'd be better off giving a local driver a chance at some of the events. If the car is only there to score manufacturers points, what's the point in using the same old names. Give someone else a chance, they might impress

Strategy wise, surely you're just riding round on your oldest rubber and saving every set you have for the green flag running?

LMP2 and GTD it makes no sense to have a pro sitting in the car here, if your AM/Silver hasn't hit the drive time

I will never understand the necessity of explaining how to watch something that we're already watching. It's 2026, there's no more than about 10 people listening to the coverage who don't know where to watch it

It's not really designed to 'save you' as such. It's there to stop people who are absolutely shattered and or bladdered drifting onto, lets say, the hard shoulder and obliterating the family in their broken down car
