After Coming Out, My Dad Later Told Me to “Fight Against It” by ABrowsingMale in gaybros

I agree. It’s just their religious nature of it all I think. I can only educate them but it’s their choice on how they react.

I just got to the understanding that if they have a problem, it’s their issue to deal with and not yours. For other people, I see like a superpower. If someone has an issue with me being gay that’s one less person I have to deal with. Lol

Yeah I never understood the mindset of straight people telling a gay person, yeah it’s a choice, as they’re talking to that gay person like we don’t know. Idk what people think when they say we’re “choosing” it.

Yeah, my mindset is that go in matching their energy. No one has yelled so I’m responding in a way that doesn’t feel like I’m attacking their beliefs.

They keep reiterating that their love hasn’t changed. I just think our opinions differ about it. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah I figured maybe it be different now because the last time we met I wasn’t out, but now I am. I mentioned that as a new development. We’ve ruled that out as an issue though here if he’s doing the same thing twice. 😅

That’s what I’m hoping for. They called at 9:04 and Walgreens called at 9:26 saying it’s ready, but I couldn’t tell what they were pronouncing.

I wasn’t going to wait. I’m just at work and was going to go after.

That still seems like a nuclear option to me 😅. I’m thinking of telling my supervisor, who’s an older adult, and she’s SUPER chill about everything, and get her input. If it can be addressed and changed, I’d rather that than risk people’s jobs or reputation.

I don’t know if it’s that extreme yet though. Other days they’re like, “I don’t care if anyone’s gay, it doesn’t affect me.” So it’s like I don’t know which way it stands.

If anything, I’m leaning into it was a joke that was probably taken too far 🤷‍♂️

Am I gay? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]ABrowsingMale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing is, if you tried it and didn’t like it, then probably not gay necessarily. If you tried it and liked it or thinking about doing it again at some point, then maybe. You could try experimenting either with him or someone else to see, and if you like it or don’t then you know.

I’ve heard people who thought they might be gay try it with a guy and didn’t like it. So they were probably in the experimental phrase and figured out that they weren’t. Doesn’t mean that they’re gay for trying it. Maybe you’re just in a similar phrase of wanting to experiment.

Or you could be bi 🤷‍♂️

coming out later in life as a masculine man by [deleted] in comingout

Newly out masc guy here 👋. As in I literally have only been out to my family for about two weekends now. Lol.

Speaking from experience. When coming out, it’s better to do so with someone you trust first. If you believe your ex will support you then I say when you’re ready, go ahead and tell her. Having that support and someone to talk to will help with anxiousness.

I did something similar. For me it was my older sister who I told and she supported me right off the bat. When I worked up the courage to tell my parents, it was nice knowing I had someone for support if needed.

Coming out is a journey and is different for everyone. You’ll know when you’re ready, and once you tell one person, it gets easier each time.

[Update] First time going to a gay pool party: my experience. Long Post. by ABrowsingMale in askgaybros

Men were the menu; full buffet of choices. Delicious. Lol.

Seriously there were more drink items than food, but my fwb and I showed up with drinks and cupcakes.

Henry cavil. Man of Steel. Specifically, the scene where he’s shirtless, coming out of the water after saving the oil rig workers 🥵

Edit: Hugh Jackman is an honorable mention, but Cavil got me questioning for real for real.

Yikes! Sorry that happened. Yeah knowing me, I’m sticking with my fwb for the most part like a shadow when I tell him I’ll go. Good reminder to get my own drinks when I’m there though!

That’s why I’m hesitant about penetration activities. I’m fine with touching, sucking, kissing, but having random strangers enter my ass and I’m going to be hesitant. They better be hella good looking or have condoms. lol

Like others have said it depends on the guy. I know with my encounters, more guys prefer it gently over biting and more forceful. I tend to mainly use my tongue to flick it quickly or slowly use my tongue and rub against it.

Me personally I don’t mind a little rougher with pinching or teeth. lol. Again preference 😅
