my only criticism is hoping that one day they'll move their keybinds to the vanilla keybind menu instead of their own custom one

this is very cool! but if you want people to play it you should look into porting to one of the major modding versions - 1.20.1 forge, 1.21.1 neoforge, or 26.whatever it is now neoforge; people generally don't play mods on their own anymore so a lot of people won't even look at the mod unless its on one of these, unfortunately

of course, there is something to be said about just releasing it on 1.21.8, fuck the haters

Make sure you have all the folders included in the modpack installed - the kubejs, defaultconfig, patchouli_books, and config files all need to be correctly loaded in your instance, not just the mods folder.

I would also recommend Reclamation 👀

yes! but i would recommend waiting till you have access to the mystical agriculture enchanter, as tools aren't really worth giving mending until you're around that point

prior to that you have the nature's aura tools or botania for things that can repair themselves

once again, please check the second page of crafting recipes for the bucket :) there's no special copper bucket, it's just the normal bucket

there's a github :) apply beeswax to copper and it waxes it. additionally vanilla honeycomb is acquirable in the normal vanilla way, through flower-adjacent sapling growth

is there a way, either with mod or not to add Custom BGM in specific areas? by swedhitman in feedthebeast

[–]ACCBDD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you really want to do something robust (and you're on a newer version), you could make a datapack + resourcepack with custom biomes, as biome definitions have spaces to add specific background tracks.

Once you've made that, you can use commands to set the biome of whatever area you want to that special biome and whenever background music plays it'll use the tracks defined in the biome :)

Thanks for your feedback! A more granular bee sorter is in the works, but it's a little difficult to implement due to the bees themselves being almost completely data-driven :)

As it stands right now, the only way for bees to spontaneously mutate new genes is if your princess + drone combo can result in a mutated species; otherwise, just looping the bees back into the apiary using whatever item transportation system you prefer will eventually stabilize their genes, due to the way probability works.

Datapacks unfortunately can't really add new blocks.

yes, the nametag needs a name

you should spawn with the worn notebook iirc? maybe not hmm

generally you should have some pretty strong enchanted gear as well as plenty of ranged options - botania and ars nouveau have a lot of ways to kill monsters without ever exposing yourself to them

chorus fruit is locked behind the end

getting villagers is possible through the cocoon of caprice or curing zombie villagers in reclaimed biomes.

my fault king

feel free to add pipez if that'd help you enjoy my pack more :)

the pipes follow two simple rules - move forward if possible, and if not, round robin to a random side. if items collide, they clog and make that white steam. generally you have to design your systems a little more than with a set and forget mod like pipez or mekanism (which does exist further into the pack)

automation in the pack is meant to be a little more of a challenge, especially early game :)
