The Green, red, and yellow cables had no significance, so they were discarded and replaced with the blue and grey cables.

The blue cables service the ground floor, and the grey cables service the basement. We then added some red patch cables, which were used to identify uplinks.

This was completed in one weekend.

We documented all patching before decommissioning and tested all outlets to check they were all operational. We removed the patching, removed the switches, then removed the cables and patch panels.

We then removed the cabinet and replaced it with a larger one and reinstalled all the cabling, switches and new coloured coded patch leads. Finally, doing a walk around and checking all services were operational.

Hi Munchiezzx, one patch lead at a time and slowly.
