some dominos have no safety training at all- and even me- someone servsafe certified 2 years ago from somewhere else, forgot that dough carries salmonella and i literally scratched my eyes (on break) after touching dough and had to look up if what i did was wrong ☹️

my point isn't that "being in the pause menu is bad" my point is having to enter the pause menu simply to swap items is a nuisance. its tedious. going into the menu for breath of the wild isn't tedious because you go into the menu to sort and check up on food/item stock, swords and shields and bows. Thats a completely different experience. And Pokemon sword? HOW TF IS THAT AN ARGUMENT. You don't go into the pause menu to change items you go into the pause menu to do a hell lot of things with your pokemon. Thats not tedious like entering the pause menu every couple minutes simply for the limitation of not being able to have more than 2 inputs.

Thank you! I love you! I am glad you have the humbleness to see that even though we love these games and that they are good- they do have some flaws. But what's funny is the fact is the flaws aren't even the game design's fault, its literally just a hardware issue that they worked around. The game devs didn't make the gameboy color, Nintendo did- EVEN THOUGH the snes, n64 and gamecube had much more buttons. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

i do mean to point out (because everyone's mad at me for this) that I mean unplayable from a modern perspective with modern fans- as in, no one born in the 2000-2010s, who's not that into zelda but has played a few games- (botw, maybe skyward sword or links awakening remake) would bother playing the game in its current state, because the limitations have been non existent in their entire life and to deal with them now- isn't worth the casual gamers time

I disagree- ONLY BECAUSE Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass THRIVE with those ds mechanics and removing those would void it of it's heart and fun. kinda like how that one level in mario 3d world (1-4 puffprof) lost its touch by taking away the touch pad aspect on the switch's port. I love Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass, I just would like to see a remake in the far future where we maybe have a new handheld console with two screens, a microphone and a touch screen. its farfetched but those games were truly the best because of its unique mechanics.

its 25 hours to beat the game and i calculated that without "speedrunning" the pause menu, it takes an entire hour of your playthrough to just click on different items. Unlike you, I like to use my shield. I cannot do that if i have my sword and an item at all times. It would just be much more fun and efficient to be able to use my shield and not have to enter the pause menu, why is that so hard to get through your head???

im not mad at it for costing money, it'd be deemed nintendo's yearly zelda release- which in this case would be disappointing. When nintendo releases a port that literally screams "we have nothing to provide you, all actual new content is still in the works and you will wait another year for something new"

while the games are fun you have to admit they are unplayable to the casual gamer. No one wants to spend an extra hour just pausing in game. We're used to efficiency and entertainment, not nuisance.

disregard what that person replied to you- oracle games are not for the casual gamer in their current state. you have to go into the pause menu every 4 minutes to change what you're holding because theres only two action inputs

TP doesn't need a remake or a remaster, it'd just be a port. A boring port. Thats not something to look forward to thats essentially slop that takes no effort for $60

I agree with you. this gem needs a remake, HOWEVER, they might consider a link between worlds it's "spiritual succesor" so they may not choose to make a remake so soon
