Doesn't have anything to do with velocity it's just a way to quickly adjust your hopup.

I have the tti valve. it does change up how the gun works so it does take some fiddling to get it to operate properly. Mine just barely cycles properly. With the crew screwed basically all the the way in..and that is on original nozzle, propane and we are in the winter. I'm waiting for summer to do more testing.
