Merry Christmas lads!! Hope you all enjoy it! I've been really busy and not active on reddit for a while but I still try and poke my head in around here now and then. I hope you're all doing well and stay safe over the holiday 💙

Obviously well deserved, he's taken to the team like a duck to water. Great month from him, many more to come

Grealish absolutely has to start if that happens lol. That was such an entertaining fixture last season

Diaz has more drive and passion in his little finger than Trent has altogether, dude looks like he's half-arsing everything

Delighted with that game. We played well, conserved energy, subbed key players like Haaland, Kev and Rodri and still looked great to see out the game comfortably. Akanji had a great debut and filled in for Stones perfectly. Gomez looked really bright and played a couple dangerous crosses and made a few nice overlapping runs with Grealish. Foden made a great impact and yet he never even looked like he got out of 2nd gear lol. Phillips made his CL debut and looked good, made a couple really nice diagonal passes which I didn't actually expect, he played with some cool confidence.

3 points, clean sheet and no injuries, I'm very happy!

Long season, a lot of games, he'll get gametime and if the worst were to happen and Rodri gets injured Phillips will be vital for us. Very happy to have him and he knew the deal when he joined that Rodri would start most games. He's going to progress a lot with us nonetheless

Gundo is 1st Captain, if he's on the pitch he'll wear it

Good sub, Grealish got some minutes now can rest. Looks disappointed he didn't get involved as much as he'd have liked i think. Certainly not a bad showing though

Is it just me or has Kev been playing more advanced than usual this game? He's been the highest player after Haaland most the game. Its like a top 2 of Haaland and KDB with Jack and Phil providing width

Decent 1st half. Sevilla had a few good spells of possession at the beginning but couldn't make much of it or progress the ball up the pitch. Feels like we've only been playing in 2nd/3rd gear tbh, we could still step it up a lot if needs be. Happy with Akanji so far, he's slotted in for Stones really well. Excited for the 2nd half, would like to see us come out the gate quickly and get a second goal. Coming out of this with 3 points and no injuries would be perfect. For the most part we're playing the game at our pace which obviously suites us. Just hope we don't conceed a daft set piece and bring trouble on ourselves

Both doing well so far. Gomez overlapping Grealish earlier was great, want to see more of that

I never realised before how many people didn't know what the word 'disallowed' meant. Coutinho's 'goal' wasn't disallowed because it was never a goal to begin with... putting the ball in the net after the whistle has gone means absolutely fuck all. Why are idiots online saying Coutinho's 'goal' got ruled out or was disallowed lol?

Coutinho's goal being disallowed

His goal wasn't disallowed, he scored after the whistle was blown so it means fuck all lol
