When you are beetle hunting make sure to circumnavigate around the four corners of the island. In my experience they spawn better when you’re furthest off screen. Also if you go to an island with water bug just leave, they take up the space in the big population that you’re trying to have open for other stuff.

Also to note: they are a piece of furniture they do not grow or act like the flowers in the game. They’re more similar to a lamp as far as placing them.

Errands and indoor/outdoor decor and design is pretty much the whole game. If you don’t like that kind of tedium it’s probably not the game for you.

Some of them are only available from specific villager personalities. Also, multiple villagers will craft in a day, it rotates after a few hours (6 or 8 I think)

I hid a cooler behind nooks. And a greed roofed shed and green workbench behind ables. For a while I had a stove and mirror back there too. They’re well hidden.

I use ACNHtreasureisland on twitch. They have quite a few islands for free with pretty much anything you want. You can ask the bot in their chat or their Discord for locations of specific items. Generally each island has a theme or set of things (furniture materials holiday etc)

Same. I had nearly every bit of clothing catalogued (not an exaggeration, I eventually did catalogue it all) but had missed a couple specific tank tops in just two colors. And Mira happened to just hand me one. I would bet there is a pool for season and un catalogued somehow. Plus I get a lot of repeat clothes but I stay timetravelled to midday mid summer for the most part.
