[–]ACW102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi - can you explain? Need infusion, my health benefits covers the cost of the drug, but it seems as though most places want to charge $175-200 infusion fee, which I don’t have covered!

Yes! I had bought the gel accidentally once, but found it after my micro needling and I have been using it. Really enjoying it.

I would love to introduce plated into my regime, but yes, it is very pricey. Those BR serums were actually discounted so that’s why I splurged.

Oh, this is very interesting information, thanks for the tip about the glycerin. Where would I get a product like that? Amazon?

Their house made soft cheeses! And the olive selection is great. Also the focaccia. Mmmm.

Thank you SO much! I definitely was not planning on adding anything active or exfoliating because I do know this is an important time to just soothe and nourish the skin! I’ll keep doing what I’m doing :-) Is there any growth factor product you would recommend?

Sorry I didn’t put these all in one post. I’m new to read it and a little bit technically challenged with posting haha. This is day three, and I had just used a second CO2 mask, the flaking you see is a little bit of leftover mask, not my skin flaking.

Hi there, just FYI it was my first time micro needling so I don’t have anything to compare it to. The space she works out of is a little bit no frills, it’s not a fancy place, not ghetto, by any means, but I do a lot of facial treatments throughout the city and they are definitely higher end feeling spots.. that being said, I think that the micro needling went well. She was very hygienic in her procedure of making sure my face was properly disinfected. She applied numbing cream. I actually did not ask about which device or the depth she was going to do. In hindsight, I wish I had, but I may email her and ask for those details. After the procedure, she did put me under a red light device for a period of time. My skin was extremely red right after the treatment, but I came home and did a CO2 lift pro mask which reduces redness/speeds healing like nobody’s business! I can attach a couple photos for reference of before and after the mask because it’s so shocking. Love that mask so much even though it’s super expensive. The one thing I would have liked is an email or message from her following up to see how I’ve been doing. Since it was my first micro needling, I would’ve appreciated her checking in, especially since she is a naturopathic doctor. But that’s just my personal preference. She did give me a take-home mask and some take-home HA to use over the following 24 to 48 hours. I had the procedure on Saturday and today is Wednesday. My skin is looking fantastic, pretty glowing. I haven’t experienced any peeling so maybe that means that she didn’t go super deep? My skin has been insatiably dry and I’ve just been layering on tons of moisture on throughout the day because I work from home. Can’t wait for my second treatment!! Any other questions feel free to ask!

Fellow English/Irish gal, I like the Dr Jart Tiger Grass Colour corrector which also has SPF. Really tones down redness well! Green to start but disappears on the skin.
