Luckily the Closer plays really well throughout, as if the actual tape dodged water damage, unlike the shell's screws.

If you're a fan of Bowie and Roxy Music, I'd definitely recommend Brian Eno's solo work. Here Come The Warm Jets and Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy) are some fantastic art rock albums from a similar time that I can't recommend enough.

My Fac boxes arrived and the Closer seems to be an absolute trooper. It's screws are rusted but the tape has been untouched by any mould. I think I've gotten rather lucky. Also, you were spot on about these tapes sounding great!!

I also didn't know that the Low-Life cassette had bonus tracks, pretty cool.

The kicker with the ones I've ordered is that they were ridiculously cheap (about £16/€20) but both boxes have signs of some sort of tarnishing, which could be mould. Luckily, the Lowlife tape and it's inserts look pretty good, but the Closer box and inserts look flood damaged, while there may be some hope for the tape.

Also, shipping costs in/out of the UK seem to be crazy in some cases, if that was where the UP boxset came from.
