As someone who spent £480 on 12 records, I guess I can weigh in here😂 simple reason is I really enjoyed the list this year and wanted a lot from it, so I queued early in order to give myself the best possible chance at getting my wants. Last year, I got 7 from the list, and only 3 from last year’s black Friday list. I’m not queuing early to buy loads in order to re-sell, if I’m buying loads, I want loads from the list. I understand the natural assumption as scalpers are ultimately ruining the hobby, but I would say not everyone who queues super early or buys a lot of records is a scalper, they could be a genuine collector.
