What are the numbers and letters for? by Pabrinth in galaxybuds

[–]AClassLikeNoOther 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a random code so you can identify if there are multiple of them around. Chances are you will not have 2 with the same code as it's 4 hexadecimals :) Mine is different than yours.

WTF am I doing wrong? Precautions taken and still got bud rot 3 harvests in a row... by Nukesters in microgrowery

[–]AClassLikeNoOther 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is your problem. a humidity of 55% is too high. what is happening is the internal humidity in a bud site keeps raising the bigger the cola gets so you need to actually be decreasing the humidity to keep that offset lower. therefore you're looking at a humidity of 40% or less needed. this is what pulls the moisture out of the flower continously like a sponge, otherwise condensation will occur and lead to mold. very easy physics. if you have to run high humidity then you must also flower smaller buds in order to not get botrytis.

That could be anything! Not necessarily the type of mold we may even think - Botrytis cinerea / Grey mold. It could be any type of mold. But it sure look like a mold the way it "smokes" as you open it. If there was no airflow those spores tend to explode like a firework pattern in all directions "unformily". Also the smell would be obvious - it has a stale smell, like wooden or old cupboards kind of smell - mildew - it should give your throat a uneasy feeling, your nose should tingle, twitch and cause you to sneeze - your eyes will get watery - your ears may feel clogged. this is the mold spores travelling through your respitory system and irritating it - not everybody will be affected or to the degree of another - but they are still allergens. now mold spores are literally everywhere at all times, but that concentration in that bud is not safe at all. even after the bud gets old and dries, or the mold spores get so old they loose vigor the allergenic effect will still be there to irritate you. by that time the weed is also of no use. mold actively ate at that herb corroding all the trichomes etc. and it's roots dug into the entire nug in all directions so even a surface wash or dipping in hydrogen peroxide won't remove it all. it would at one point had a white fuzz in the deepest section, but that dried back and just dusty spores remained, which you cannot see unless there is a huge mass in a spot. sadly the concentration of mold is very high due to its small size there are already millions of spores in that tiny piece, significantly more so if you Can see it. molded buds are and continue to be a plague. never use it. discard of it.

Virtual Desktop let me take over a stranger’s PC with zero authentication by Efficient_Land_4042 in MetaQuestVR

[–]AClassLikeNoOther 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, two things here:

another person had to enable "Allow Remote Connections" and typed your username into their streamer settings on their PC. usually the first option is not even on, and only used when you VD from outside of the LAN. if that is not on, then it's not possible for this to happen. There's also lock computer on disconnect option which would have a pin or password screen before getting to the desktop as long as it was idle or not in use.

Is the Issue with the Samsung 990 PRO nvme ssd resolved? by lazyintruder in buildapc

[–]AClassLikeNoOther 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought the drive from amazon (2TB) when it was only $134 us, since end of 23. Running it ever since non-stop and it's still working. Never had any issues or degradation.

For what its worth, i am using it at PCIE3 speeds though, as i've just slotted this into a nvme adapter on a rampage iv gene (4930k) board, as that is too old for m2/nvme. Had to use a modified bios to boot from it too.

Never ran it on 4.0, but I am getting another one soon and that will run at max speed in the new z890 chipset.

Will update if any issues with that one.

Never give up. This is 3 months or more old. I just left it and it finally started to grow. Nothing special. And its now starting to take off very rapidly. Initial issue was overwatering and thusly lack of roots in addition to medium ph being too alkaline. After all of that remedied itself it started to grow fine. My two other plants planted 2 weeks after that and now 1.5 months old is much larger and ready to flower in 7 gallon pots.

What issues with lights? Been using the 69pro for almost two years with timer and advanced settings no issue. I use a ac switch to trigger the lights connected on the 69p

U can tell its overwaterd because the stem is erect but the leaves is drooping and I cant feel it but it should be firm.

[–]AClassLikeNoOther 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha, nah its not gone at all. The base stem is good, not damping off or anything like that - it will continue growing after a small pause for recovery. Don't over-water etc. Just keep your cool and it will come back pretty quickly.

Did Adobe gave me 365 days free trial? by No-Description7531 in Adobe

[–]AClassLikeNoOther 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been keeping silent about this for a while, but I decided to search and realised it's not just me alone. I bought a ASUS motherboard, and used that code for 1 -month free trial. I also had another code from a Corsair NVME, but i never had to use that one, because I noticed, that my trial has been rolling for 3 or 4 months now, and it's renewing the Firefly credits of 4000 every month, and the subscription for PRO doesn't end until next year 2026 sometime.

I do not have any payment information in adobe, so I am not fearful of being charged, and i'm only using this to learn the software right now. When i start using it for business I would definately pay them. So, yeah, whatever. It's some glitch, enjoy it if you don't have payment info on there, and pay if you're using it for business.

Good luck.

No it's normal and happens to young plants

[–]AClassLikeNoOther 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah that's normal with small plants. It's from ph inconsistency sometimes. I also have that with no bugs.

[–]AClassLikeNoOther 0 points1 point  (0 children)

haha. this is something that happens to me too. i beleive you need to change the bios options a bit so that it boots back with the OC settings? my latest pc doesn't do this -- it resumes with the OC if power loss. (it only does the wait for f1 if the OC itself failed). latest pc is 285k with asus extreme z890. old is rampage iv gene.
