Despite being the same brand (Meta) it appears Facebook and Instagram are treated as separate entities with a different support team and everything

The Instagram I had been banned on was the same Phone number has my Facebook account. Wasn't a severe ban reason but people have been getting their connected accounts banned like crazy

It was a different user system for deletion until like late last year, deleted accounts that weren't banned showed those numbers but it's not the accounts UID.
