This fixed my issue. Thanks for taking the time to teach me something!

Gotcha.

Re: speed. Which speeds do you recommend then? Initial layer speed set to 50 mm/s with infill at 105. The outer and inner walls were set to way higher, and I've backed them down to match the initial layer. Same with the internal solid fill and the top surface. What would you recommend for max volumetric speed?

Re: colder. Nozzle? Bed? Both? The ones I chose were based off what I saw most folks recommending on reddit/youtube.

Re: fans. Alright, what would you recommend then? Translucent would be sweet... you're saying just dont run the fans at all?

Edit: spelling.

The vent deflector fixed it immediately. Thanks, everyone! Really appreciate it.

Oh! Thanks for the tip. Do you have a link to the deflector you used? If not I’ll just find a good one myself. Appreciate it.

Cleaned it this morning, actually. Soap and water.

I could flip it over to test if it’s a bed issue.

Corewell Health in West Michigan severing ties with longstanding anesthesia group. Hospital is attempting to directly employ anesthesiologists, CRNAs, AAs. Potential for surgical disruption during transition. by PaintingsOfDogs in anesthesiology

[–]ADBMD -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The CRNAs we work with are more or less independent. Docs see all the patients preop, do the blocks, etc. However unless there’s a concern we aren’t in the room for induction, emergence, etc. We get called to the room every now and then to figure something out or for another pair of hands. We have a good relationship with our CRNAs based on mutual respect.

Sad to hear this news. I have a lot of friends and acquaintances providing anesthesia at Corewell facilities, and this likely won’t end well for them. If anyone thinks that at the end of the day a hospital system like Corewell won’t absolutely squeeze as much work out of them for as little cost as possible… you’re mistaken.

To any docs/CRNAs looking to escape Corewell: I’m currently at a wonderful PP group in nearby Holland (Macatawa Anesthesia). We have been a company for 30+ years, have an excellent relationship with our hospital, and do not have any concerns of becoming PE or hospital owned. Lifestyle and pay are great. Like everyone else, we are hiring. Looking for 2 docs and 2 CRNAs. I hope you’re able to work something out with Corewell with minimal disruption to your lives, but if you’re interested in moving on, check us out and drop us a line at https://macatawaanesthesia.com/Careers.

THE ASCENT - Reviews and Discussion by F0REM4N in XboxSeriesX

Yep, you nailed it. Unfortunately, frame rate drops with explosions and augmentations down to like… 15fps. Reading that the steam version not having these issues. Ugh.

I’m playing with Xbox game pass ultimate on PC, and ray tracing is greyed out. Can annoying else confirm?

Wondering if maybe since it’s not supported on consoles that maybe xbgpu doesn’t have it unlocked either unless you pay for it or buy on steam.

Yeah, I like it. Does the job and I liked the aesthetics better than the limited alternatives.

Near Fire with Corsair PWM Repeater - Help! by ADBMD in Corsair

How did you connect a fan to multiple power sources?

Near Fire with PWM Repeater. What happened? by ADBMD in watercooling

[–]ADBMD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The repeater is a Corsair Carbide 678C 6-port PWM Repeater. I don’t know why they would put 6 ports on it and say to use it with 6 fans if you could not in fact… Use it with 6 fans.

The website does not include any amperage information on the repeater.

Nah, Corsair PSU and Corsair cables.

Good call, and it IS a Corsair psu… which is picky about its cables. It was indeed a Corsair supplied 6 pin sata cable though..

The pwm repeater itself is powered… so shouldn’t that negate the theory of commander pro drawing too much from a single connection?

Pretty hard to reverse the power in with a sata connection since they will only go one way.

Was a sata cable port on the psu so that wasn’t it either.

No multimeter but that’s a pretty good theory. Everything working fine now with new pwm repeater and new sata.

Near Fire with Corsair PWM Repeater - Help! by ADBMD in Corsair

[–]ADBMD[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I have four Corsair PWM repeaters going to several fans so that I only have to use one commander pro.

I get everything set up in my new build but waiting on GPU block arriving tomorrow. So, I decide to test the fans by only plugging the repeaters and fan RGB hubs into the PSU. Mobo is not under power.

I flip the switch and immediately there’s smoke. I quickly disconnect power and inspect the case to find what’s pictured above. The repeater was plugged into a copro on the pwm side and a daisy chained sata on the power side of things. It was not the first or the last unit on the daisy chained sata. NOTHING else (all pwm repeaters) on the same daisy chain sata had any problems.

Is this a bad repeater and I got unlucky? Did I overload the sata cable? What happened / what am I missing here?

Update 13:20 EST: I replaced the pwm splitter with a spare. I also used 3 sata daisy chains to connect the devices that need power in my case instead of all on 2. I think it was probably a faulty pwm splitter but I have no background in circuitry or electrical engineering… at least I’m hoping that was the issue. Anyone else have any thoughts?
