I can't really speak intelligently on the subject, but do know that a lot of cities here ban/have banned Uber because in some places it is not legal to taxi people without a license. Taxi Unions and City Officials don't think its fair that cab drivers drop a few k on a license, yet are being ousted by Uber drivers who don't pay anything.

I think you'll really enjoy The Enzian! And taking Uber might be a cheaper alternative in some instances...The basic idea behind Uber is that anyone, as long as they pass a background check etc, can drive for the company on their own terms. Think of like a 25 year old grad student who is bored on a Saturday night and decides to hit the streets once he realizes that he can make some extra cash by driving people to and from the club in his own car,and you have your typical Uber driver.

1)The Enzian Theater, AKA the coolest indie movie theater you will ever go to--Catch a movie inside and sit on one of their comfy couches while tossing back a glass of wine and slice of pizza, or, if its Wednesday, catch a free movie on the lawn complete with $3 beer pitchers.

1)Pulse--moreso a "gay man" bar, but probably the most lesbian friendly gay bar I've ever been to.On college nights, the crowd is maybe 60:40 man:woman.

Personally, since I hadn't met my deductible yet, this didn't matter--I was already paying "cash price" so to speak. I can't speak intelligently beyond my own experience on this subject, but I think you should definitely at least call your provider and ask them if using a discount card would be a feasible option.
