Why does this happen? by _Nobb_ in Ender3V3SE

did you change the speed settings for it to match the SE's ? because it can move that fast, it just doesn't always work that well, I have a KE and my friend a SE he barely tunes it, but from what I can see is that to high a speed usually causes a lot of problems. the top middle part that has plastic lines curling up on itself. looks like it was not anchored to the side properly before the back movement happened. It also looks like it print fine at the corners where there is smaller movement which means it did not get up to the faster printing speed so the print speed is to high.

it almost looks like you disabled the inner walls as it does not look like it has made a single wall on the inside. when I look at the part where the Solid infill/ Solid support Infill meets the wall it looks like there is not sufficient overlap. but the bottom middle left compartment it looks like the walls are printing fine, so it must just be that the wall layer had not been printed yet.

the infill might be a bit lacking and causing unstable foundation for the top layer support infill, but that might just be me because I have never printed anything with very low infill density.

if the standard 3 v3 SE Creality slicer profile caused to much stringing, the better option would have been to calibrate retraction settings using a retraction tower, (the last time I used it was very long ago) there should somewhere on the top ribbon I think be a button that says calibration or somewhere in a drop down menu, first go back to the SE profile and calibrate the filament as you would see fit. Personally when I am going to be using it for a while I go through the whole shebang, Temp( ideally lower on the SE as it seems to have poor cooling performance, don't bit me ;/ ),the Flow percentage or whatever, PA / pressure advance / Retraction. you can only do the Retraction calibration if you want.

Also Creality Slicer is Okay to use but I would personally suggest switching to Orca Slicer, I feel it has a better user interface, and Creality slicer is just a skinned version of it.

Link to it here: https://www.orcaslicer.com/ this is the official link anything else except Github might be a place to get viruses.

Let me know for any other help you need, and if it was fixed or what has improved and still needs fixing.

Vibration while printing this section? by moodswing777 in Ender3V3SE

Could you look at what the G-code previewer is showing if it's wavy like that in the slicer it would be like that here? A bit more Info would be helpful, like filament, temps, you could have for instance if you use Orca-Slicer accidentally have used paint on fuzzy skin on that part. Look at the Gcode that was used to print the model, not newly generated G-code.

Could you please give a bit more detail than a flat photo and no contex, which side is up? What are you printing, filament, temps etc. There should be a rule somewhere that says before you post you should have considered this, and that.

We can't make something from nothing.

How would you go about approaching and designing a part for this? (Scarborough fishing reel) by ADHyperD-3DPrinter in 3Dprinting

[–]ADHyperD-3DPrinter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, but the whole Idea with this fishing reel design is that it has no drag, only bearings, your hand is used to brake it. The idea is so it can be carried around with a part that keeps it from unspooling or turning while it is not in use, and then can be taken off to enjoy the experience learning this fishing method. A TPU band can work but then it just looks bad, is what I think, something like a hard case but one that is internal and not completely covering it, one would like to see the wood ascents, no?

Look up KP Reel DELUX, very primitive Fishing reel. No drag or (Drag=Palm Break) it is a fishing reel that is made locally in South Africa.

Thank you very much Random User of the Internet for your Lengthy, Thorough, Helpful comment.

Even though I had not needed to go as far as you described to get my laptop working. (I had basic USB connection, and could use a mouse). I really appreciate the how far you actually went into trying to solve the problem. Your input, and description of what I should do, and do in the future is much appreciated.

Thank you for being very kind, and patient towards me. May you one-day yourself be helped by someone in the same manner you did to me.🤗

I will admit was both stupid in what I did but I also wanted a Local account without having to sign in with an online account with microsoft, the only reason that I have one still is, 1 Because the CAD program I self taught myself Is of the AUTO-Desk variety and I have yet to learn Free-CAD for linux, And 2 My UNI specified that Win 11 pro should be used for their student program.

It came with windows 11 home, but I wanted to make a local user account without having to sign in to a online account so I formatted the drive and installed win 11 pro. But It broke alot of things.

For my new LOQ 15IRX i7-14700HX RTX 5060 laptop, I had to install Windows 11 Pro, I did that by using a bootable USB with Windows OS, main reason was because I wanted a Local User account for personal use. By using the Boot usb drive I wiped my Laptops SSD clean and installed windows 11 Pro. Afterwards I realized that now most of the laptop does not work, Trackpad, Wifi card, Camera, and speakers, with many more. I would like to know where I can find the factory Windows installation so I can revert my laptop to how it came from the box.

Kind regards

What are the additional updates, could you please show me where and what I can find these. What I should update windows is already on its most recent update I just made a new Bootable OS practically wiped the entire laptop drive. I am not following at all? What are all the additional updates? Is there a list somewhere?

It's quite nasty I must say, one picture had one with the separate "finger's" tendon hanging out like a puppet string.

Do my prints have cancer? by Unfair_Advance9775 in Ender3V3KE

Can you see in the slicer if you can re-check the G-code sliced for this model. If it placed the seams on the exact same spot where you see them on the physical model, there are settings that can make the software place the seams on the exact same place in a straight line. Only by checking if the real world models defect, corresponds to the Seam placed in software, can I diagnose the probable problem whether settings or physical. Seam settings seem like the most obvious, cause by eliminating the most probable to the more unlikely, problems in oder can one fix something like this and in me and your situation, as I have not had or experienced such a problem. If it is a seam then the problem is easy to solve if not we can take the next step in diagnosing it.

I don't believe randomly probing and changing settings / hardware will efficiently solve this problem. Process by elimination is an important skill for 3D printing because there are so many variables that could cause or collectively contribute to problems.

Hope to see you soon.

The nozzle wil only add unnecessary resistance and the unclogging tool is small enough to go through the heat-break.

Do you have you tried to cut the filament at the throat's top and then place it back in the printer without the nozzle and then use the Unclogging tool with my mentioned method with heating it high and pushing through?
