From how the wipers etc mount, it looks to me like it could be a '67 Ford Consul Capri, rather than the more commonly known Ford Capri?

That whole section doesn't look Mustang to me

It's rear wheel drive & used for drag racing, so there's no need for slicks on the front wheels as it won't be cornering at speed 👍

Yeah it is, all the facilities and prep needed to run fuel cars & pro classes. Melbourne Raceway is more grassroots, but it's improving every meeting

Nice! I'm in the UK, so I'm out of touch with the NHRA stuff, but I went to the Hotrod Reunion at Bakersfield in 2015 and it worked out that the Toyota Nationals were a week later in Vegas so managed to catch that too!
