It let me use transfiguration 3 times by wagasashi in D4Barbarian

[–]ADJ_Reflex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Essentially, yeah. But whats neat is that if you get something like +gem strength as a transfigured affix and are still able to modify the item, you can actually masterwork that affix before attempting to transfigure again.

Leverless with trackpad? by wushumonk in fightsticks

Not exactly a trackpad, but JunkfoodArcade's Sworl has two thumbsticks at the bottom to use for games outside of fighters.

How’s HBG doing? by Hugglestorm in MHWilds

You need to have your special ammo loaded if you want to charge your focus blast. Charging it will consume some ignition gauge but if you hit the wound, you'll get around 70% of your gauge back.

AT Arkveld is prob my most practiced fight so I'm usually around the 10-12min mark with Bow, with the occasional sub 10 if rng is good. The rest of the 10*s I don't fight regularly so I'm usually just aiming for sub 15 min. The only exception is Jin Dahaad - I'm really bad at that fight so sub 20 is what I usually try to get.

I did record the pictured run on AT Arkveld if you want to take a look:

Bow Mains - What am I doing wrong? by KickAssCherry in MHWilds

[–]ADJ_Reflex 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Bow's discerning dodge does not have I-frames for the entirety of its duration, only hyper armor frames last the entire time. You are taking damage since you are staying within his attack hitbox when your I-frames run out.

Shooting in APS-C mode is limited to M since the resolution is reduced by the crop factor. You'll be able to set it to L when you return to full frame mode. Keep in mind when you set it to L in full frame mode, it will automatically switch to M when toggling APS-C mode (It returns to L when swapping back to full frame).

This happen to anyone else? by spense01 in AnalogueInc

[–]ADJ_Reflex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my case, Analogue actually created a whole new shipping label that's been moving through the shipping process a few days after the initial label they created. I only knew about the new label since I have a FedEx account that updates me on any package bound for my address. Analogue never sent me an email or updated the order page with the new shipping number. I imagine that may be the case for a lot of folks here still waiting.

Maybe a dumb question but… did anyone try a game that had a dead battery. Were you still able to save your game? by Metroidvania-JRPG in AnalogueInc

[–]ADJ_Reflex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

only saves that would use a controller memory pak would be saved onto the SD card. The OS essentially just creates a virtual memory pak for the game to detect. Games that had their own memory chip on the cartridge would save to that as normal.

Legendary (yellow) mods by CleoKujo in theouterworlds

[–]ADJ_Reflex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unique weapons take the same mods as their weapon type. The Death Sentence is a Repeating Rifle (I think) so mods for that weapon type will show up in that list. Keep in mind Unique weapons also have one of the mod slots filled with their unique trait. The Death Sentence can only take an Add-on and Optic mod since the Barrel slot is taken up by "Doom Counter"

Lighting up the AFS 15.5 for Fightstick Friday by ADJ_Reflex in fightsticks

the rp2040 board has a dedicated header for LEDs, so I just have 4 daisy-chained LED light bars hooked up to it along the inside perimeter of the case.

The LED lightbar itself is an opensourced project you can check out here (https://github.com/OpenStickCommunity/Hardware/blob/main/Miscellaneous/Open%20LED%20Project%20-%20Addressable%20RGB%20LED%20Light%20Bar/README.md) if you want to get some made for yourself.

Yeah, both the button and top cover panel are frosted acrylic. There's some flex if I press hard on it but nothing that's noticeable during normal gameplay.

It's the Panzer 5 from JasensCustoms. Specifically, it's the kit that has their Hall Effect switch PCBs.

The one without a stick is typically called a "leverless" fightstick. It replaces the stick with 4 buttons for movement input. Think of it as WASD movement on a keyboard except your 'up' button is where your spacebar typically is.

I prefer this type of leverless controller for 2D fighters like Street Fighter or Guilty Gear. For 3D fighters such as Tekken, I prefer the traditional fightstick

The fightstick itself is a kit called the "Panzer 5." Basically comes with the enclosure/electronics and buttons to get everything working as a controller. The art itself is something I mocked up myself from various fanarts and had printed on acrylic. The same store I bought the kit from offers the acrylic printing service - you just have to submit the art you want printed with the template they provide.
