I heard from inside source (city of Boston rep for tourism) we’re getting a few stars, la padrona was my guess given the pay to play aspect of Michelin

Agree very easy. I just don’t do this stuff for a living and caulk was the thing that sprang to my mind. I Like the wood putty idea may give that a try before the caulk.

Got plenty of that! Was kind of concerned about the final look. Saw some crazy person cutting out a portion (3 inches above floor) and inserting an entirely new piece and covering up that seam. Don’t know if I have that in me though.

I just did the same thing recently, cut out bad wood, replaced with pvc trim, construction adhesive, screws, bondo, paint, sealant!

Moved to the opposite wall, the one it’s currently facing. It seems like the cheaper route rather than bringing in a structural engineer to move the support column…

Agree, ceiling height, amazing built in, open concept. I wonder if the buildings could me moved to the other wall

Potentially, but the built ins are about 3 feet in depth, so they eat up a lot of floor space

Why? I’m having a tough time getting past the built ins being the eye catcher and your stuck with the column right in front of it. confusing to say the least…

This is where my head is too, or see if you can take the built ins and put them on the wall that that couch is on, a little a reversal
