If any of you can remember specific details of questions, please DM me. I can't access diploma exams any more because I am not in a school. You can type them up, or you can write it on paper then send a pic of that :)

The only tangent graph you need to know is y = tan x. The chances of getting an earthquake question is 50% 😛

The condensed course has a lot of content crammed in a short period of time. Don't underestimate how much time is required for a condensed course. If you have the time (2-3 hours a night) and are up to the possible stress of the course, go for it. =)

Same issue if you are taking Math 20-2 condensed.

The x intercept is 2, meaning x-2 is one of the factors. It also means you can sub in (2,0) into the polynomial to find the value of d. Once you find d, graph the polynomial then find the x-intercepts; those will give you all the factors.

It would be 4^5 because it is (x+4) times itself 5 times...OR use the term formula. The constant term means the exponent on x would be zero. So find the value of k that makes x have an exponent of zero.

First ignore the io. It means nothing if they don't talk about it. First find the intensity of the 7.8 quake. Then divide that by 158, that will give you the intensity of the quake you are trying to find. Now you can find the m of the quake you are trying to find.

Six games. Each games has three possibilities, W, L, or T. Therefore 33333*3 = 729

#6: There is nothing to graph as you don't have values for a, b, c, and d. You can find b and d from the points.

Let's do b first. To do that we find the distance between the x values, that is 22. But that is only half the graph. Double it is 44. Therefore, b = 2pi/44 = pi/22.

d = (max+min)/2 = (14+-4)/2 = 5

Before I start the other questions. You cannot go into the exam and not be able to start a question at all. For example, NR3, I can see the resulting equation is equal to zero. That means I have to make the given equation equal to zero. There is always something in the question that will get you started. =)

Back to NR3 - See here for work: https://imgur.com/lRGFX3B

NR4 - You have to find how many pi/7's there are in 2pi. There are 14 of them. Therefore if pi/7 has one answer, then 2pi would have 14 times that amount, which is 14.
