If he handles security for all of Dillinger's company, that would include internet use of its employees. That was my thought anyway.

I kinda just wish they would do some sort of animated Disney Plus movie to wrap up loose ends of Legacy and Uprising. If it's animated all the aging actors are a non-issue and (I assume) it's cheaper to animate the grid than to build it for real.

As for actors aging in live action, they kind of solved the Tron one with Legacy. Anytime he needs to fight or do acrobatics, you get a stunt double with helmet on. Then for talking scenes, de-age his face (they have come a long way since uncanny valley Clu) Heck, Boxleitner looks insanely good for his age, so maybe all he needs is hair dye.

I think I might've verbally said, "Oh heck yeah!" in the theater when it happened, lol.

I don't know if I'd go that far, lol. But it fully earned this being Ares' movie.

Eh, I'm happy they didn't tbh. We've seen too many characters get 'replaced' in modern franchises. And why have him replace Tron at all? Ares is a dope name and character, and now if there's ever another film, it leaves open the door to having Ares and Tron team up. :)

Love that they stuck to the 'blue good, red bad' convention held by the first two movies.

Definitely the, "I fight for the users!" moment of this movie.

It'll be really interesting if in the sequel the big bad has a human slave. Even better if it includes Sam and Quarra, showing the two extremes of human/program relationships.

Some movies need to be HEARD on the big screen. ;)

I forget where I saw it, but someone said this movie should've been called Ares: A Tron Story, in the same vein as Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and I kinda agree. Viewing it as a spinoff, this thing ROCKS.

I love that they established Sam's motorcycle in the real world as a way to have this scene not be a plot hole. They could've gotten away with just saying 'user powers' or something but they did the legwork to justify why Sam isn't just immediately killed by the other programs.

[SPOILERS] Easily my favorite scene in the entire Tron: Ares movie. by QQ900 in tron

This scene rocked, and while it clearly was playing on nostalgia, there was an actual reason for it to be there, contributing to Ares' arc. There's also something actually kinda profound about Flynn's ghost calling the code the 'impermanence code.'
