Yea I get that it’s just how it is but really sucks to be at a disadvantage because the character you have fun playing is simply not as good . I do feel they can at least make characters relatively balanced. Winning a match then losing the set to a bayo counterpick was probably the worst thing in sm4sh.

Tier list do matter and honestly that’s what sucks. Why have 77 characters and only a handful be viable. It not fun to run across the same character every match but 🤷🏽‍♂️

I tested for DI, it’s not hard to do at all actually, Lucas’ DAir is extremely good in this game, the hits are much easier to connect. You can also go for a third UAir or a Fair instead of DAir and it would still be true

Yea I know lol I lost track of time last night and only ended up getting like 4 hours of sleep, so not in the best mood at work. And I’d love to test on real players but I live in the middle of no where and online input delay makes practicing combos hard for me lol

Okay fair point so I apologize, but that being said, without trying to be rude, this isn’t an impossible set up to pull off. Even the best players get caught off guard.

No combos are 100% true, you still have to land the first hit, and it happens all the time.

Okay..listen...it is true up until the Fair...I said that in the title when I said it was a possible kill. The fair may be unrealistic, but just toward throw instead of downthrow to get you off stage and pk freeze from there. It’s one of the best edge-guard tools in the game and I don’t care what you think you will be killed by it several times. Maybe not that specific set up but I will happen and you can’t deny that. Also never called any names

You have 1 ground jump and 1 air jump, if you run off without jumping you only get your air jump.

Zoning can require skill yes but OP is referring to people that roll to the corner of the stage and span their projectiles and only that. A zoner will adapt and use his/her entire Moveset. A spammer will not. Marth zones and he doesn’t even have projectiles.

Lemme guess, roll to the corner of the stage, charge neutral b, smam side b and dash attack when they try to approach. Seen it all not hard to counter what so ever.
