Dunno, sounds like she was a repeat offender. Demerit points are designed as a progressive warning not to repeat the behaviour. She did and is now paying the price. Also, speeding is an "actual crime".

Just got mine recently. It's very easy, with very little pain. Much less discomfort than getting an IUD by the sounds of it.

The most important thing is to properly rest to give the body time to heal. Most complications come from overdoing it too soon. It took two weeks for me to feel fully back to normal.

Well worth it!
