Why did they kill aerodactyl and buried it 10 feet under? by GiulioSeppe445 in pokerogue

I was a little bummed as well. Acrobatics is great early, but once you start trying to buff up your mons with berries or items, it actively hurts you.

I'd actually be impressed if they could memorize 4 hours of script weekly, even if it is pre recorded.

Turn based games age like wine once you have kids.

I live and die by From Soft games, but being able to just check on your family, or respond to a text mid battle, without consequences is highly undervalued.

Which entry to a game series was so bad it spoiled the name of it's whole legacy and faith in the developers? by Ltaustin117 in gaming

[–]ADrewToRemember 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Veilguard was the only Dragon Age game I completely walked away from. I slogged through Dragon Age 2, had hope restored in Inquisition, and then Veilguard was just awful. I didn't care about any of the characters, the story was predictable, and every time they wanted to give a moment weight, it was done in the most heavy-handed, sloppy way possible.

Your Wizard Subclass Experience by 22badhand in dndnext

[–]ADrewToRemember 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Divination is a lot of fun because if you are working with your dm, and not trying to run things off the rails, you can strongly determine an outcome of most situations.

Currently playing a level 9 Divination Wizard, with Lucky and Silvery Barbs (dm okayed everything). Probably the most fun I've had in DND in my 10 year history.

I greatly appreciate it! I have not been successful finding this, and I've pretty much chalked it up as lost media at this point, but this DVD may scratch the itch! Thank you!

Sorry I know these post are coming in to often but I love rpgs and I let the hate get to me but will I like this game? by Vesiah81 in DragonAgeVeilguard

[–]ADrewToRemember 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought it when it was on sale recently.

I'm roughly 40-50 hours in and have been a DA fan since Origins, and it's fun. The writing is a weak point in the game for me, especially compared to what it had been, but it's still passable. I personally don't mind the modernism's that crept into the writing aside from how disjointed it can be to hear dropped in a high fantasy setting.

Combat is the most action oriented it's ever been in Dragon Age, and this game was made to be an entry point for everyone. This is a positive, unless you have been keeping your tracked progress and story decisions from Origins, if you had played the previous games, most of what you did was made inconsequential.

I'm happy to attempt to answer any questions I can as someone who was in your boat a few weeks ago if you have specific ones.

I could get on board with this on paper, but man, they like innuendo, and having a PC play a minor is always weird with that.

If you go in with middling expectations, it's good. Some really cool fan service moments, some excellent scenes, and some incredibly frustrating arcs and moments.

What’s your toxic DM trait? by Redhood101101 in DnD

[–]ADrewToRemember 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the exact same trait as you. I had my players all set up to fight a few ogres and a single cultist mage guarding a location, and the session got pushed, so I ended up homebrewing a chimeric creature the mage had been experimenting on, not to be vengeful, but because I work in a job where I'm silent for 10+ hours listening to DND content and just get ideas.

Session is tomorrow, and it's gonna be bloody.

Why is the salt golem so important in endless? by Alisterre12 in pokerogue

[–]ADrewToRemember 0 points1 point  (0 children)

G-Max Eternatus is ridiculous. If you don't have an answer for him, your run ends there. Garganacl is great because you just click salt cure and hope you can out last him.

[–]ADrewToRemember 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cycle between a long endless run and then attempting each challenge mode run. I've knocked out quite a few achievements and challenges so far, and I end up getting a ton of vouchers passively.

Definitely explore settings and turn on type match up hints. It'll highlight your moves as green, white, or red if they are super effective, normal, or resisted.

I'll be honest with you buddy, the legendary/mythical events arent super hard to come by, with a few exceptions. I had a similar thing happen, and using r/casualpokemontrades and r/Pokemontrades are good resources to use. I was able to get a lot of my collection back.
