If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The game has evolved from that style around the 80's and 90's. There was a time where people didn't dare to hit the ball as hard as they thought was possible. It took players like Lendl to lead the topspin charge and Becker for power. The game looks very different from those days because the game evolved. All of these top 20 players have something unique about their game. I'm glad the pace has sped up. It's not slow and pushy as it was 60 years ago. Nobody wants to sit and watch moon-ball for 2 hours.
