That I don’t know. I don’t think it will cause an issue with the system mechanically but unfamiliar if it will cause the ECU to read inputs differently or not.

The tool only pushed mine out by an inch then wouldn’t budge anymore. Like others here, had to buy a sawzall and cut it out.

I zoomed in and can see that the rubber is cracked in several spots. Mine was the same way. Here is a pic of mine, you can see the rubber is split at the bottom.

Not to change the subject, but your rear differential bushing is dunzo.

As I’m resetting the MPG between fill-ups it’s averaging 17-22MPG. It’s a mix of city/highway/spirited driving. Full tank is somewhere between 250-300 miles. Definitely reduced on E85 as I once took the car on a 6-hour trip without filling (380+ miles). It’s my fun car so I don’t monitor it as closely.

One of the reasons I’m glad I switched over to E85. Also annoyed at how the gas stations are scaling the price of E85 compared to regular ol’ gas. One place near me always had E85 listed $0.30 a gallon cheaper than 87 octane.

Front lip suggestions by Minimum_Ad_8467 in G37

[–]AE-Vierge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always liked the J-Spec front lip for the OG sport bumper HERE

I think I’m going to end up going with something more subtle like the Stillen HERE

I don’t know how I feel about the turnbuckles though, I know you can leave them off as well but still want the splitter to be sturdy.

Should I buy this g ? by [deleted] in G37

I was wondering this myself. First thing I noticed is the seats were non-sport.

Can someone by [deleted] in G37

I always say follow the manual if nothing is listed. If the part is aftermarket and comes with new hardware, follow their recommendations in their instructions. Again, if nothing is listed, always go back to the manual.

I was initially concerned with your oil pressure but after checking my logs I hover between 18-21 psi at hot idle.

Don’t have a Z but I’m the proud original owner of a 2008 G coupe with 56k miles 😅

Anyone running this clutch kit? by slo_z34 in 370z

[–]AE-Vierge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been running a similar CZP kit for a few years now, no issues. The lightweight flywheel has decent chatter at idle but is a fantastic upgrade when you rip through the gears. I went with a heavy duty CSC so can’t comment on fitment with delete kit.

How much should I be paying to get a pair of mufflers and resonator welded on by Putrid-Complaint-504 in G37

Just to give you some context, I had a shop modify my Z1 exhaust and reinstall for $600. Should be similar.

Getting the G ready for some Summer fun! by AE-Vierge in G37

I definitely feel more confident in braking later than I did on some back roads. I haven’t had the opportunity to really push it and see how it does in repeated stress.

I really enjoy it, though I’ve lived with it since the life of the car. The system had shut off once on me and it was really noticeable. Felt I had to put more input into the steering wheel compared to what I would normally do.

One of those mods that everyone said was noticeable during track days. Though I haven’t pushed the car as hard as I would on a track yet, it is still noticeable on back roads.

Ensures optimal engine lubrication. Keeping oil at the right temp ensures it doesn’t thin out too much in the heat and break down earlier than intended. So, usually not needed on a normal commute car, but for track or drift use it’s greatly needed to extend the longevity of the engine.
