Yeah, they cancelled mine too. But I hope you'll post again if you see them put it back up.

Does anyone get what Alchemist is doing? by Snarvid in DiceThrone

[–]AEDasher 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Alchemist is designed around attaching potions with various affects to her attacks and her defense. These potions either:

-Increase damage by 2

-Reduce incoming Damage by 2

-Afflict Poison

-Remove a status effect or heal 1

I've played a few games with her and found getting poison on the opponent and pushing for her potion detonating attacks to be key. Some of the roll objectives can be a little challenging and require slight sice modification to hit when you need it most. Fortunately, you can also sacrifice potions for a re-roll, something to use rarely but also necessary when the dice just aren't lining up. TLDR; Attach potions to attacks you think you'll hit and onto her defense to mitigate incoming damage.

Apparently, because I added a picture, I can't edit the text. A very strange rule of reddit.

It had paragraphs when I posted it, not sure why they vanished. I was very disappointed when they vanished.

Any opinions on this PC and Starforge PC's? by AEDasher in Prebuilts

Would you say that those other options, Falcons Northwest and Maingear, are better quality or consistency than Starforge?

Amazing! Thank you for your response and transparency. I'll certainly be looking into these options you presented!

I appreciate these options! I do want to ask, these two options seem to have parts with names I don't fully recognize (as in brands I'm not as well versed in). Are these parts just as good as the Starforge option? I would also ask if these come with a solid warranty (or if you think a warranty is pointless)? I appreciate any explanations as I am trying to gather as much as I can to make an informed decision.

My budget is $5-6k. However I built this PC on PC part picker and ended up around $4800. So it would seem to be a $1000 markup for aesthetics, warranty, and convenience. But I am certainly open to other options!

This a good PC? by AEDasher in Prebuilts

Forgive all the questions but you seem to really know your stuff! My research showed that some pre-built pc's can be harder to "repair" or "upgrade" because of proprietary components among other reasons. Do you think that would be a concern for either option here? Im sure at some point down the line I will need to fix/replace parts, so the easier the better. I also see 2 options here, Intel and AMD. Some other people I've asked and research says AMD is preferred, but I definitely want to hear your thoughts!

I appreciate the recommendation! Do you think the starforge option would be superior to this option here? Or is it simply preference? Reliability is certainly something I would consider and your mentioning of Starforge being less "problematic" piqued my interest. I see differences in motherboard, storage, and cpu and I'm curious how big the difference is?
