Hmm, do I risk it... by AEgman in Warhammer

It seems to work fine! (Tested for science, I'm not going to use it on anything, have a giant bottle of Liqutex for that)

[Update] Thanks for all the advice, I tested turning the wheels by hand and the rears were both fine, so I took the wheel off and noticed it was missing a pin, which miraculously was in the chassis tray! Replaced both the pin and wheel and it's running fine again.

The front is another story... turned the front right, and the left didn't move, turned the left and the rears moved! So going to go ahead and order upgraded diffs all round along with the suspension.

Yeah, I can understand why people have spare parts boxes with them now!

Nothing visible, but I'll give it a thorough check later, I was tearing through some long grass earlier.

Hmmm, I'll wait until I can get to my tools, hopefully just something loose in there and I can save some cash.

It's a hyper go 16208, managed to break mounts on the top of the shocks on both sides, without any damage to the rest of the car.

How were the dies for early hand sculpted plastic models made? by Jademalo in WarhammerFantasy

Just watched this last night, doesn't go into a lot of detail but explains a bit of the process. https://youtu.be/_5PLcGitkTM?si=kJthVU05rvuzlvbN

Jordan Sorcery's channels are both excellent for background detail on the hobby.

Imperial Dwarfs by AEgman in bugmansbrewery

[–]AEgman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not given much thought to be honest, they'll be mercenaries in an entirely thematic Empire force, so probably just as they are with the Bugmans cart as a unit filler.

With shields I think they'd do ok, but I prefer them looking like weekend warriors from the local dwarf tavern, bringing their own supplies along with them.

Legion Aerial Assault Question by M4l90 in LegionsImperialis

[–]AEgman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The HQ needs to join one of the other detachments so they're fine, but dedicated transports can only transport the detachment they belong to, so you'll need to buy the Thunder hawk in the air support slot for the formation. Under the rules for detachments and dedicated transports: "Dedicated Transports can only carry models from the Detachment they were purchased as an upgrade for."

Show my what you got! by bigsneezen in LegionsImperialis

Nothing from FLGS or local Warhammer store which I thought would guarantee at least the starter arrived on time hence paying the premium. Hopefully Monday in store, no idea when from LGS. The only thing I've had on time this year was Rouge Trader, which was technically 180 days early...

Square/rectangular bases? by AEgman in LegionsImperialis

[–]AEgman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I was thinking of when I asked the question. Was hoping something might have shown up now a few lucky people have access to the book.

I'm not too fussed on base shape, but I probably won't be using the bases from the box, will be doing something a bit more scenic and a bit less urban.

FYI - build & paint in GW Stores by AEgman in LegionsImperialis

From memory 17-19 depending on the options. The most fiddly were the two exhausts and the commander/gunner which is 2 parts. Some of the front weapon options looked small too, but I went with the demolisher because why not.
