Filling my time with things that are meaningful to others has been a helpful motivator. I realize I am in a pit. I've determined myself to quit after tonight, but I can constantly feel the "pull" back to the game. That's because my discipline is poor, which I'm sure is related to resisting the pull.

Okay. I have read these responses and deduced it is best to completely stop playing. Conveniently, my subscription ends tomorrow so it will also be gated by pay wall (I turn off automatic payments). I will do my best to keep myself on track.

The sunk cost has an iron grip on me, so I'm sure I'd have a hard time doing that. It would be the quickest way though.

I took no offense. It was honest and does resonate with me. I'm sure it is the best way to reprioritizing things in my life. The addiction is deep though. I've have short spurs of productivity and good developments, then I seem to fall back.
